Born in 2006, Emma Bertozzi began studying the violin at the age of six. After training with Lyubov Vynokur from 2018 to 2021, she enriched her musical education by perfecting her skills in masterclasses held by celebrated maestros such as Laura Marzadori, Stefano Pagliani, Claude Richard, Stefan Milenkovich, Silvia Marcovici and Massimo Quarta. Since 2022, she has regularly attended Ilya Grubert’s annual masterclasses and summer courses at the Santa Cecilia Foundation in Portogruaro, also performing as a soloist with the course orchestra. She has earned important recognition in national and international competitions. In October 2024, she won the “Premio Nazionale delle Arti”, with the commission chaired by Salvatore Accardo and composed of Sonig Tchakerian and Francesco Fiore. In the same year, she won third place in the Junior Violin category at the “Zanuccoli” International Competition in Sogliano al Rubicone, with the commission chaired by Claude Richard. She ranked third in the Emilia and Elsa Gubitosi International Competition, Isola di Capri, with the commission chaired by Anna Tifu. Finally, she won second prize and the special ‘Elisabetta Scappini’ prize at the ‘Todi città del violino’ international competition, with the commission chaired by Sonig Tchakerian. In July 2025, she graduated with honours and special mention from the three-year first-level academic course at the Maderna – Lettimi Conservatory in Cesena and Rimini. She is attending the two-year second-level academic course at the Claudio Montev Conservatory in Cremona under the guidance of Edoardo Zosi. In June 2025, she was admitted to the Walter Stauffer Academy in Cremona in Salvatore Accardo’s class. She also continued her advanced studies with Ilya Grubert
