Alessandro Faraci, of Sicilian heritage, began studying the violin during middle school in his hometown, Caltagirone. He earned his Level II degree at the “Claudio Monteverdi” Conservatory in Cremona, where he studied under the guidance of Laura Gorna. His education also included violin and chamber music studies with renowned musicians such as Roberto Noferini, Alina Company, Lena Yokoyama, and Silvia Chiesa. Alessandro has always had a deep passion for early music, which led him to take specialized courses with Enrico Gatti, Enrico Casazza, Gaetano Nasillo, Sonia Prina, Lorenzo Ghielmi, and Valerio Losito. Throughout his career, he has performed at prestigious venues including Teatro Ponchielli in Cremona, Teatro Massimo in Palermo, Auditorium Palacultura in Messina, the Ala Ponzone Civic Museum in Cremona. In 2024, he was invited to join the chamber group “I Solisti Terre Federiciane”, and started his collaboration with Museo del Violino. Currently, Alessandro is pursuing a two-year major in baroque violin under the tutelage of Valerio Losito at the Conservatory of Cremona.
