Sara Dionisia ZENELI

Sara Zeneli was born in Zakynthos, Greece, on the 6th of March 2000. She began studying the violin at the age of 3, under the guidance of her mother, and in 2005 she continued her studies at the Codarts conservatory in Rotterdam, with Natasha Morozova and later in Athens with Vasili Papas. At the age of 7 she started to win the first competitions and to participate in Masterclasses with teachers like Sergey Kravchenko and Grigori Zhislin.
In 2008 Sara moved with her family to Italy, where she met Salvatore Accardo, who appreciated her precocious talent and followed her progress with interest.
In 2009 she entered the Conservatory of Cremona and from 2015 to 2020 she studied with Salvatore Accardo in the Stauffer Academy. In 2017 she won the special prize “Città di Fermo” for the best performance of Niccolò Paganini’s caprices in the international competition Andrea Postacchini. In 2018 Sara was chosen to participate in the Masterclass of Maxim Vengerov in Cremona. In 2019 she won the special prize of “Youth Development” in the international competition Leopold Mozart. From 2020 Sara is following the Violin Master degree with professor Benjamin Schmid at the Mozarteum University.
