At the Museo del Violino, visitors can explore the fascinating history of violin making through direct contact with the city’s great violin makers – Amati, Stradivari, Guarneri – and their masterpieces by tracing the balanced blend of art and craftsmanship, creativity and tradition, skills and knowledge which connects late Renaissance to contemporary violin making workshops. Concerts and recitals on historical violins, precious exhibits and multimedia installations promise an exciting and enthralling visit for all, in which instruments, sounds and images converge to give rise to stories, dreams and emotions.
